Joshua Tree was beautiful the weekend we cruised up for rock climbing, hiking, and camping adventures. It was my first time rock climbing (and others too) and Matt, the dude, was a fabulous instructor, and provided all the necessary equipment, while Dave was excellent to guide and belay us. After a long day of scampering and climbing and hiking around, we went back and had a delicious campfire meal, laid in the back of the truck and watched the shooting stars, ate s'mores, drank whiskey, and laughed. We even woke up at 330 am to try and see the alleged meteor shower, which never happened on our watch. All in all a great time! I can't wait to go back! I even got my national park passport cancellation stamp! woot!
